We carry the priorities of local business to the City of Davis, Yolo County, and the region.
When a decision affects local business, the Davis Chamber of Commerce makes sure business has a seat at the table. Below are recent positions the Chamber has taken on issues important to our members.

Secure support from at least five Chamber members for your request.
Send documentation
Email pertinent information sheets, a Q&A, and any financial impact statements.
Include the other side
Provide publicly posted opposition information so the board sees the full picture.
Note the deadline
Specify your decision deadline. At least two months is recommended.

Government Relations
The positions above come out of the Chamber's Government Relations Committee: members who run businesses in Davis, watching what the city, the county and the region have in the works before it is decided.

Small Business Grants
The Chamber's Small Business Grant Program supports the small businesses that make Davis what it is. Grants require no repayment.
